On October 31, 1517 Martin Luther nailed his 95 thesis to the chapel door in Wittenberg. Looking to reform the Roman Catholic church to historic, orthodox Christianity, Martin Luther instead began a revolution that we know today as the protestant reformation. Unlike the more well known holiday, also celebrated on October 31, Reformed Christians around the globe take time each October 31st to celebrate Reformation Day. This past October, the folks from Wilson Presbyterian celebrated Reformation Day together at the Watt’s house. Some members even chose to dress up for the event.
